Cyprus Production Service Delivers Key Location Support for Netflix Thriller Bogotá: City of the Lost

Portions of the film, starring Song Joong-ki, Lee Hee-joon, and Kwon Hae-hyo, were shot across striking Cypriot landscapes in 2021, with CPS managing all local production services, logistics, and location coordination. The Cyprus shoot was led by veteran producer Alexander Papacosta, who served as Line Producer for the local scenes, overseeing a seamless execution despite the challenges of filming under post-pandemic travel protocols.

Bogotá: City of the Lost tells the gripping story of Guk-hee (Song Joong-ki), a 19-year-old who, after the 1997 Asian financial crisis, moves with his family to Bogotá, Colombia, seeking a better life. Facing hardship, he becomes entangled in the city’s black market, rising through its ranks while navigating perilous challenges.
